After 14 Years of yoga practice, the need to share my experience with friends is only natural. Working as a classical singer in Vienna for 10 years, I put all the focus on breath. After my two teacher trainings, Santosha Thailand 2009 and Abhyasa Yoga NY 2010, I learned to effectively combine breath with movement in order to create a safe and wholesome asana practice.
If we are able to breathe in a specific calm and controlled way (ujjaji pranayama), we are able to transform our mind set over time and become more of who we are meant to be. I like to think of it as a way of gaining freedom in life.
My hope is to create a yoga space that welcomes anyone who either has experience with yoga and wants to practice or has never done it and would like to learn. Creating this yoga studio in my home has been a true labor of love. I would not dare to teach Asana if I was not a practitioner for many years and rarely do I have a day off the mat. The impact my daily practice has on my life is so profound that it is my deepest wish and hope to help others by passing on the gift of yoga.
